Matthew's 11th Birthday

February 15th ... ahh, the day Matthew has been looking forward to for a month. I'm not sure why this one was so anticipated! We enjoyed this birthday by relaxing at home, and with a meal chosen by Matthew. We had roast, potatoes, and ugali (pop), along with a Mountain Dew Cake. Matthew really enjoyed eating the local foods in Zambia, and had been longing for some ugali and beans!! But, we didn't know it took that LONG to cook beans! We're working on that this week :)

    Matthew: Happy Birthday! We hope you had a great day! Sounds like you planned a great menu! Enjoy being 11! Little Pastor Jeremy is the same age as you! We pray God blesses you as you serve him in Swazi! Hear they have monkeys just like YOU!
